Jozefin is a hospitality complex – an ancient building that has been carefully renovated and preserved, providing an authentic and homey atmosphere. It is a beautiful place to spend time in Old Akko and take part in tours around the area.
If the stones could talk, they would probably tell you about the Crusader knights, the Ottoman peasants and the soldiers of His Majesty George VI, the British King who marched through the streets of ancient Akko, and maybe even slept in Jozefin.

Jozefin is a “riad”- four luxury suites surrounding an internal courtyard. There are neighbors on the upper floor.
Jozefin is located in the heart of the Old City of Akko, which is off-limits to cars.. We suggest arriving at the “lighthouse parking’ ( HaMIGDALOR) and entering the Old City via the alley near Abbud House (a Bahai white house with blue window shutters). As you walk through, you will see signs directing you to Jozefin.
The Old City of Akko offers a wide variety of restaurants that serve breakfast. We’d be happy to share with you our favorite eateries upon your arrival.
Guests use self-check-in to enter their suites, by using a code sent to them the night before or on the morning of their arrival. Self-check-in is available anytime after 3 pm.
Early check-in or late check-out is free of charge, based on availability of rooms. Please contact us in advance with your request.

Yes. We can provide a small crib upon request.
- The Emerald Suite can accommodate a couple and an additional individual. An inflatable mattress may be added for an additional nightly cost of NIS100 (not including VAT applicable for Israelis).
- The Jasper Suite can accommodate a couple and two additional individuals. An inflatable mattress may be added for an additional nightly cost of NIS100 (not including VAT applicable for Israelis).
